Tibnor is a Swedish steel and metals distribution company, providing a wide range of steel and metal products and services to various industries.

My role

In this project, my primary task was to lead the redesign of the existing website, aligning it with the newly established brand guidelines. This involved not only ensuring a fresh visual identity but also making certain that the user experience and functionality were in harmony with the brand's values and image.

Approach

During the development of the re-design, I incorporated the brand guidelines into UX design best practices, guaranteeing that design elements adhered to the new brand and met accessibility standards, resulting in an exceptional UX experience.

The layout is built on an 8-grid system to maintain a consistent design structure. Colors and fonts are aligned with the brand style guide, with additional colors introduced to meet accessibility standards.

The design is created using Figma and embraces the principles of atomic design, emphasizing a structured and systematic approach to crafting user interfaces. Design elements are systematically deconstructed into smaller, reusable components, ensuring a consistent, scalable, and efficient design process.
