NIBE - Content Delivery Platform

NIBE is a Swedish company specializing in sustainable energy solutions, including heat pumps, ventilation systems, and water heaters.

The project scope inclouded the development of a content delivery platform for technical documentation and manuals, encompassing both frontend and backend solutions, as well as UX design, with the goal of enhancing the overall customer experience.

My role

In this project, my role was to address the users' needs while delivering a scalable design to be seamlessly integrated into an already existing customer portal.

Approach

Creating a content delivery platform involves several steps to ensure that the platform is user-friendly, intuitive, and provides an excellent user experience. The project involved the following steps:

1. User Research and Analysis: I began by thoroughly understanding the target audience, conducting interviews to gain insights into users needs and preferences.
2. Information Architecture: I carefully planned the structure and organization of content, creating a sitemap that outlined the hierarchy of information.
3. Wireframing and Prototyping: I developed wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize the layout, structure, and user flow.
4. Navigation and Search Functionality: I designed intuitive navigation menus and effective search functionality.
5. Visual Design: I designed the platform's visual elements, ensuring consistency with the client's brand identity.
6. Responsive Design: I made certain the platform was responsive and performed well on various devices and screen sizes.

The design is done in Figma and follows the principles of atomic design, emphasizing a structured and systematic approach to crafting user interfaces. Design elements are methodically deconstructed into smaller, reusable components. This approach ensures a consistent, scalable, and efficient design process.
